BOCHK SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION PRIZE is a bi-annual merit-based award recognizing scientists and research teams in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao for their significant scientific and technological innovations and transformation. Each winner will receive a certificate, a trophy and a cash prize of HKD 2,000,000. The prize review process is carried out by a team of experts led by the Chairman of the Board of Hong Kong Alliance of Technology and Innovation, Dr. Michael Lau. The Review Committee is composed of specialists from the three cities. In the case of a conflict, the Chairman of the Board has the right to decide on the result. The Charter is designed to promote scientific and standardized management of the prize and ensure its objectivity and fairness. In the event of any violations, the Board reserves the right to terminate the award or withdraw the prize money, certificate and trophy.
